The project involves the refurbishment and tenant fit-out of the former Pathology Institute at Dag Hammarskjölds väg 17 in Uppsala.
The main building and a small chapel were erected in the 1930s and comprise approximately 6,000 m². The buildings have high architectural value and are partly protected by a Q designation, which imposes stringent requirements for preservation and respect for the original architecture.
The building is being configured for purpose-built educational facilities and offices equipped with modern technology.
WELS carried out the electrical and telecoms design.
